From Tailoring To Sailing

A study into the history of crafts in Kita's family and the industry revolved around it. How did this shape the profession of future generations? How do things correlate?

She was fascinated by the triangles that I came across in the patternbook. The triangles were applied to almost each pattern. This triangle, the dart, ensures clothing to be form fitting.

By researching this piece of technique I stumbled upon a very simple technique that makes the two outer lines align perfectly before sewing.

The sphere in the sail that is usually created by the force of the wind, has now come to a semi-fixed state thanks to the tailoring darts. This makes it suitable to function town.
