An ever-expanding encyclopedia about the process and potential of linoleum. Its pages are made from linoleum to give space to the story about linoleum.
 
Volume I displays material in-between-stages of the production of linoleum. It shows both the raw mixture and insight into elements of the production method of different linoleum designs.

Volume II shows Kita’s personal exploration into the material in these different production stages. She takes inspiration from nature’s ordering principles and its way of embracing disruptions. She embraces the unexpected outcomes in industrialised and digitised processes. Zooming in on the many surfaces that exist in nature, dissecting its elements, Kita translates this to tactile surfaces and organic patterns. For this she uses both manual and mechanical techniques.
